TRICKED is provided by SeventhCurrent (“we”, “us”, or “our”). We are responsible for the personal data we process to operate the game and its leaderboard.
Privacy contact: hello@seventhcurrent.com
This policy explains how information is handled when you use TRICKED. You do not need to provide your real name, email address, or a password to play.
1. Information stored on your device
TRICKED stores game settings and local statistics, including your language, sound and vibration preferences, best score, games played, and trick history. It also stores information needed to limit advertising frequency and, when applicable, remember purchase status and prepare leaderboard submissions.
Detailed local game history is not uploaded to our leaderboard. Settings → Reset local statistics clears game statistics; it does not delete online leaderboard records, purchases, or advertising preferences. Android system app backup is disabled for TRICKED. This is separate from TRICKED’s own online progress backup described below.
2. Online leaderboards, profiles and progress
When a version with online services is connected to the internet, TRICKED automatically prepares a pseudonymous player identity. This may happen when you open the game, before opening the Leaderboard screen. No account registration is required to play.
Our online service processes:
- A randomly generated player identifier, generated nickname and public player tag;
- Qualifying weekly and all-time best scores and their acceptance times;
- Profile selections, earned cosmetics, achievements and weekly medal results;
- Player creation and name-change times;
- Authentication credentials and temporary validation information used to protect the service.
Your nickname, player tag, scores, leaderboard position, equipped cosmetics, achievements and medal results may be visible to other players. Authentication credentials and private progress backups are not public.
Where progress backup is enabled, we also store aggregate completed-run counts, total points, personal best and earned gameplay themes, together with an installation identifier used to merge progress. Detailed trick history, individual taps, audio settings and advertising-frequency counters are not included in this backup.
Where optional Google linking is available, you can link your player profile to restore it later. We verify a Google sign-in token and store Google’s account identifier associated with your player profile. We do not store your Google password, email address or Google display name as part of this linking process. Linking is optional and does not synchronize store purchases between platforms.
Qualifying leaderboard score submissions include gameplay actions and timing information. The server uses this information to validate results and prevent cheating, without retaining a complete gameplay replay history.
Our leaderboard service does not keep a complete server history of every run or tap. Local play remains available offline; online services and synchronization require a connection.
The service uses Cloudflare hosting and databases. IP addresses and request information are processed for network delivery, security and abuse prevention. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
3. Advertising and privacy choices
Ad-supported versions use Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Advertising services may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP addresses, device or account identifiers such as advertising IDs, app/ad interactions, and diagnostic information. These are used for advertising, measurement, service performance, and fraud prevention.
Where required, the game requests advertising consent. Settings may show Privacy choices when this option is required by the advertising service. You can also manage advertising identifiers through your device settings. Non-personalized or test advertising does not necessarily mean that no data is processed.
Some testing versions show Google test ads. Where Pro is available and owned, it disables forced advertising and provides the included continue without a rewarded ad.
See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Mobile Ads data disclosures.
Depending on your location, Google’s privacy message may offer consent choices or an option to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising. Where available, use Settings → Privacy choices to review or change your selection. Declining consent or opting out does not prevent local gameplay. Advertising availability and personalization may change based on your choices and applicable requirements.
4. Optional usage analytics and crash reports
TRICKED uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to help us understand usage and fix technical problems. Usage analytics and crash reporting are optional, disabled by default, and require separate consent. You can change either choice in Settings at any time without affecting your ability to play.
If you enable usage analytics, Google processes app interactions, session information, app and device details, an app-instance identifier, and approximate location derived from your internet connection. TRICKED also records completed runs, including the score, duration, and whether a continue was used.
If you enable crash reporting, Google processes technical diagnostics such as error messages, stack traces, app version, device model, operating system, and installation identifiers.
We do not attach your leaderboard profile, Google account details, or authentication tokens to these reports. Advertising identifiers and advertising personalization are disabled for this Firebase integration. Advertising consent is managed separately.
Disabling either option stops future collection for that option. Disabling analytics resets its local data; disabling crash reporting deletes unsent crash reports. This does not automatically delete information already transmitted to Google.
Google processes this information to provide these services and may process it outside your country. For more information, see Firebase Privacy and Security and Google’s Privacy Policy. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@seventhcurrent.com.
5. Purchases
When purchases are enabled, the relevant app store processes payment and RevenueCat helps validate purchases, restore them, and manage Pro access. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app user identifier, purchase receipts or tokens, transaction/product information, and technical information needed to provide its service. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
Some testing versions have purchases disabled and do not configure RevenueCat. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
6. Support
If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, and any information you choose to send, such as screenshots. We use these to respond and investigate the reported issue. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
7. Purposes and legal grounds
We process information to provide the game, leaderboards, purchase access, and support; protect the service from abuse; and meet legal obligations. Where applicable, our legal grounds are performance of a contract for requested services, legitimate interests in service security and support, consent for processing that requires consent, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing.
We share information with the providers described above as needed for these purposes, and where required by law. We do not sell leaderboard records. Providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area, subject to applicable transfer requirements and safeguards. Their policies explain their respective processing practices.
8. Retention and security
Local information remains on your device until removed through available app controls, clearing app data or uninstalling, subject to platform storage and backup behavior. Resetting local statistics does not delete online records or backed-up progress.
Online player identities, all-time best scores, profile information and progress backups have no fixed automatic expiry and may remain while we operate the service, subject to applicable deletion rights. Weekly working scores are retained until the competition is finalized, then removed; finalization may be delayed during service interruptions. We retain historical medal results for up to three winners per week. Temporary score-validation records and expired restored sessions are periodically removed.
After profile deletion, finalized competition placement, score and timestamps remain with the player identifier removed. This does not guarantee complete anonymization. A credential hash is retained for seven days to confirm interrupted deletion requests; expired hashes are cleaned up hourly. Cached public results may remain visible for up to 45 seconds.
Infrastructure backups and operational logs have separate retention periods. These periods are still being confirmed; we will update this policy when they are confirmed.
Firebase Crashlytics retains crash data and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning deletion from live and backup systems. See Firebase retention information. Google Analytics user-level and event-level data retention depends on our Analytics property settings. We have not yet verified the configured period. Aggregated reports can remain longer. See Analytics retention information.
We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle the request and any related legal obligations. Advertising and purchase providers have their own retention practices.
We use encrypted connections and device secure storage for leaderboard credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices, deletion and requests
To delete your profile in the app, connect to the internet and open Home → Profile → Delete profile and data. Follow the confirmation steps. Google-linked profiles require Google confirmation.
Deletion removes:
- Your online profile and Google link;
- Device credentials associated with the deleted profile;
- Leaderboard scores, except retained finalized competition results described below;
- Profile cosmetics, achievements and online progress backups.
Local progress is cleared on the device completing deletion. Offline copies on other devices are not remotely erased. Purchases and sound preferences remain separate and are not removed by profile deletion. Deleting your TRICKED profile does not delete your Google account.
When online, TRICKED automatically creates a fresh guest profile after deletion. This does not restore the deleted profile or its progress.
You can also request deletion without the app using our TRICKED profile and data deletion page.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to a competent data protection authority.
Contact hello@seventhcurrent.com to make a privacy request. For player-profile requests, include your current in-game nickname and player tag. We may request additional information to locate your records and verify ownership. Do not send authentication tokens, passwords or payment-card details. Contact us before clearing app data if you need help identifying an existing guest profile.
Uninstalling, resetting local statistics or removing a Google connection through your Google account does not by itself delete TRICKED server records. Requests concerning advertising or store-provider records may also need to be directed to the relevant provider.
10. Children
TRICKED is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the game or its services, contact hello@seventhcurrent.com so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deleting information where required.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when features, services, or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
