Data collected
Fold is designed as a local-first app. Events, lists, notes, preferences, and related content are stored on the user’s device. The final policy will confirm all diagnostic and platform data processed by the release build.
How data is used
App data is used on the device to provide organization, reminders, widgets, backup, and restore features.
Backups and files
Users can create backups in a folder they select. Those files are controlled by the user and may remain after the app is uninstalled or its data is cleared.
Third-party services
Any platform, crash-reporting, or distribution services included in the release build will be identified here before publication.
Data retention and deletion
Local app data can be removed through app controls or by clearing/uninstalling the app. User-created backup files must be deleted separately from their selected storage location.
Children’s privacy
Fold is not currently presented as a service directed to children. This section will be reviewed before release.
